Demeitre Brim joins the ÃÛÌÒTV as assistant defensive line coach on Christian Parker's first defensive staff. After eight years in the collegiate ranks, he begins his NFL career with the Cowboys.
Brim arrives in Dallas after spending the 2025 season with his alma mater, UCF, as a defensive analyst. The Knights ranked fourth in the Big 12 in total defense (335.8 ypg) and third in the conference in passing defense (185.1 ypg).
Prior to UCF, Brim spent two seasons (2023-24) as the defensive line coach at Lehigh. In 2024 he helped guide TJ Burke and Matt Spatny to first-team All-Patriot League honors, with Spatny also earning honorable mention All-America recognition from the Associated Press. Brim's first season saw the Mountain Hawks rank second in the conference in sacks (21) as Dean Colton earned all-conference honors.
The Dundee, Fla. native found his coaching start at Nebraska, joining as a graduate assistant in 2018. Brim was elevated to defensive analyst in 2021 and later a defensive quality control coach in 2022.
Brim began his collegiate career at Virginia before transferring to UCF in 2014. He was a two-year letterwinner at middle linebacker for the Knights while serving on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and the Leadership Board for Student Athletes.
The former middle linebacker earned his bachelor's degree from UCF in 2016 and later graduated with his master's degree in higher education administration from Nebraska in 2020.
