I'm seeing a lot of good quarterbacks in this year's draft. Any chance the Cowboys will pick one on Day 3? Steve Craig/Newport, WA

Mickey: I'm not quite sure about there being "a lot of good quarterbacks" in this year's draft, and that might depend on what you are looking for at quarterback. A potential future starter or a potential future backup? Seems to be more potential future backups in this draft, but then the Cowboys already used a fifth rounder last year on Joe Milton as a developmental type QB. Don't have a problem with like using a late Day 3 pick on a quarterback if just trying to interview a potential extra arm for training camp, but then probably can find that in an undrafted free agent if looking for a practice squad type. Taking a quarterback if still having a level of confidence in Milton's development would be low on my priority list.

Tommy: I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on a lot of good quarterbacks being in this year's draft. There's not much past the fourth or fifth round this year in my opinion, and that is nowhere near the area the Cowboys should consider taking a quarterback this year anyways. I would be mildly surprised if they drafted one at all given the signing of Sam Howell earlier in the offseason and Joe Milton still being in the building. It's clear those two are set to compete for the backup job, and I don't think having a third player in the mix is necessary. That can always change if one of the guys starts to slip into the seventh round, but I wouldn't expect it.
