FRISCO, Texas – After trading Osa Odighizuwa to the San Francisco 49ers on Wednesday, the Cowboys now have eight selections in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft:

  • 1st round, 12th overall
  • 1st round, 20th
  • 3rd round, 92nd
  • 4th round, 112th
  • 5th round, 152nd
  • 5th round, 177th (compensatory)
  • 5th round, 180th (compensatory)
  • 7th round, 218th

With the Odighizuwa trade giving Dallas the 92nd overall pick in the third-round, the Cowboys are now back on the board on Day 2. In May of 2025, Dallas traded their own third-round pick to the Steelers for George Pickens. Later that year in November, Dallas' 2026 second-round pick was sent to the Jets as part of the trade for Quinnen Williams.

In the Solomon Thomas trade to the Titans, the Cowboys and Tennessee swapped seventh-round picks. Dallas moves up eight spots to the 218th pick, while the Titans receive the 225th pick.

The 2026 NFL Draft will mark the first for the Cowboys since 2008 where the team has two first-round selections, and the eighth time in franchise history that Dallas will select twice within the first-round.

In the past, the Cowboys have made those two first-round picks count, most recently in 2005 when they drafted future Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware and defensive tackle Marcus Spears. They've also drafted players like Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Russell Maryland, Alvin Harper and Kevin Smith in drafts with two first-round selections.

It's not just the early rounds that the Cowboys have had success in, however. Roger Staubach and Dak Prescott are among those to be taken in the later rounds by Dallas,

The 2026 NFL Draft will be held from April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.
