FRISCO, Texas — The ship has been righted by the ÃÛÌÒTV, sorta kinda maybe, after pushing the Green Bay Packers to the absolute limit at AT&T Stadium to force a … tie. The offense was on fire thanks to Dak Prescott, George Pickens and others who stepped up in the absence of CeeDee Lamb, but the defense continued its struggles, for the most part.
Up next comes the New York Jets, a team that is winless in its first four attempts under new head coach Aaron Glenn, and the Cowboys know all too well what that type of desperation can lead to — if not prepared for it — having experienced it firsthand in Chicago.
Glenn and his team want to use the Cowboys as a get-right game, just as the Bears did.
WHEN AND WHERE:
Date: Sunday, Oct. 5
Time: Noon CT
Location: MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, NJ)
For Schottenheimer and the Cowboys, the mission is to avoid being that for the Jets, and to figure out how to finally get the defense to shut down their portion of the scoreboard, as Prescott hopes to continue his scorching-hot ways when he travels to the Big Apple.
He's had plenty of success at MetLife Stadium over the years, but against the Giants, having played the Jets only twice in his career — a 1-1 record after winning at losing in 2019 on the road before avenging that loss with a win in 2023 at AT&T Stadium.
Which will it be this time for Prescott and the Cowboys?
Tune in and find out.
